Medford Youth Girls Softball (MYGS), of Medford, Massachusetts. Not for profit softball league run by volunteers for over 25 years.

MYGS has 3 Leagues:

                   Spring League - April to June
                   Summer League - June to August
                   Fall League - September to End of October

Divisions U10, U12, and U14 may participate in the Intercity Softball League.
The U6  & U8 divisions will play entirely in Medford. Focus will be on skills and fun, with some games between Medford teams.

Formats/structure:

• U6:
  The focus will be on skills and fun.Teams meet 2 times a week. 
  Tpically teams meet on Sunday afternoons & weekday evenings which the Coach chooses. 
  Some games between Medford teams.
  Games are coach-pitched, and are loosely structured.

• U8:
  Teams meet 2 times a week. 
  Typically teams meet on Sunday afternoons & weekday evenings which the Coach chooses. 
  Teams are NOT Drafted
  Teams may play a game or two in the Intercity Boston League. 
  Games are coach-pitched, and are loosely structured.

  Three meetings per week.
  Teams should have 2 games a week: 1 Home and 1 Away.
  Teams will have 1 practice a week. (The Coach will choose the team practice night.)     
  Away games will be in local towns.       
  Teams are drafted.   
  Games are player-pitched, with umpires, in the Greater Boston Intercity Softball League.  
  Home field: McNally Park (35 Webster Street)

  There are Medford Division Championships & Intercity Championships for the Medford Division Championship Teams.
