Fall Registration Opens on 7/16

MYGS Fall Ball Registration 7/16 to 8/11
Eligibility: There is a softball program available for all players born between and September 1st, 2005 and August 31st, 2019. A player's age as of August 31st determines the division in which the player is eligible to play the following year (Fall ’24, Spring ’25, and Summer ’25). Please refer to the USA Softball Code Age Eligibility Chart to determine which age your team/player is eligible to participate. (link). Our registration system will automatically place the player in the correct division.

Structure:
U10 and up ages will be playing in the Middle Essex Softball League. Typically, teams will practices 1-2 times per week and ALL games are double-headers on Saturdays (times vary but are typically morning to noon). Games will start September 7th.
6U and 8U will have an eight-week clinic from September 8th-October 27th. Depending on number of signups, we'll break into teams and have games and practices in only Medford. Teams/groups will meet once on Sunday afternoons, and once during the week (6pm-7:30pm).

Uniform:
For 10U and older players, uniform is NOT included in this registration process. If you purchased a jersey for Spring 2024 or Summer 2024, that jersey can still be used for fall 2024. After the registration is completed, a jersey number will be assigned. Once families are notified of their player’s number, each family must order home and away jerseys ($33.95 each) at our provider’s website, https://teamlocker.squadlocker.com/#/lockers/mygs-apparel. The order to delivery may take up to 2 weeks. Black softball pants can be purchased anywhere if your player likes a certain brand or fit. Do not let cost prevent your kid from playing.
